About Grand Traverse Musicale
Grand Traverse Musicale, originally Traverse City Musicale, was founded in 1932, and has been supporting, sharing, and offering music to the community ever since.
The mission of the Grand Traverse Musicale is to support and encourage young musicians through scholarships, and to present quality musical and outreach programs. Membership is open to everyone. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to sign up at any event. Dues are $25.00 per year. Meetings, which include a musical program and tea, are held the second Thursday of the month (September - December). The business meeting starts at noon, with program and tea following. The spring meetings will feature performances by the scholarship award winners. The May meeting begins at 7 p.m. The June meeting will host two perfomance times, 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. All meetings are held at the First Congregational Church, 6105 Center Road, Traverse City. |

Membership consists of musicians, teachers, and music lovers in general. This is a wonderful place to connect with other people who want to nurture young talent, and believe that music is the universal language and offers deep personal enrichment.
